The Referral Process

To be assessed at the Chinook Bone and Joint Clinic, you will need to first be referred by your family doctor or general practitioner (GP). Your doctor will send you for ortho x-rays of your hip/knee and send a referral to the provincial FAST program, who will then direct it to our clinic. Once your referral has been processed by our clinic, you will receive an automated phone call to communicate the status of your referral. We will then contact you when an appointment is available.
